The Amuzing the Freak sound is a gripping mix of deep basslines, obscure soundscapes and malevolent melodies. It comprises elements of both driving and minimal Dark Progressive Trance.
After years spent sculpting his sound, 2014 saw the project being signed with Occulta Records. Now with multiple releases on various compilations on labels such as Glitchy.Tonic Rec, Maia Brasil Rec, Insonitus Rec and more. With focus on spreading his name within the Australian scene, 2017 saw the project also being signed with the Melbourne-based Universal Tribe Records.
Since the release of his debut EP titled “Zooids” on Occulta Records in 2016 ~ hailing praise from dance foor junkies around the globe ~ the Amuzing the Freak project has gained global awareness; having now performed on stages across Australia, Germany and Spain; alongside artists such as Electrypnose, Kromagon, Sensient, Pspiralife, Hellquist, Scorb/Squid Inc, Arjuna, Mark Day, Psykovsky andmany more.
As a forming member of “Peripheral Visions”, 2017 saw the creation of the Melbourne-based crew focused on bringing fresh talent, exciting music and unique lineups to the local scene; organising high quality events and indoor
parties. Keep an eye out and expect many more great things to come from this highly skilled and motivated collective.
